African Community Services of Peel

Provides newcomer settlement, youth development, women’s programs, seniors’ support, community wellness, and volunteer development services for the Black/African community in Peel Region and surrounding areas.​

Key Programs & Services

• Newcomer Settlement Services – Orientation, housing assistance, employment resources, and language training for newcomers to Canada.

• Youth Development Programs – After-school programs, leadership training, educational workshops, and summer camps for newcomer youth.

• Women’s, Children’s, and Family Programs – Support groups, parenting workshops, and culturally sensitive counselling.

• Seniors’ Support Programs – Health promotion, social connection activities, and elder abuse prevention initiatives.

• Community Wellness and Development – Public education, community events, and volunteer engagement opportunities.
