Since 1985, the Roots Community Services has offered programs for families in the Region of Peel, focusing on children, youth, women, and seniors to empower and strengthen the community.
Key Programs & Services

Enhanced Youth Outreach Worker (EYOW) Program - A clinical intervention program for youth (ages 12 to 21) experiencing obstacles related to mental health, trauma, addictions, relationship violence, or sex/human trafficking. For more information on this program contact: intake@rootscs.org

AMANI Mental Health & Substance Use Program - A culturally responsive and affriming health support program for Black youth, ages 12 to 29 that reside in the Region of Peel and Halton. Along with providing support for their hallenges' families and/or caregivers in the form of personalized and confidential services.

Black Leaders of Tomorrow Program - A business mentoring program, where youth (ages 16 to 24) are matched with mentors (entrepreneurs/business professionals) who help develop their professional leadership skills and help grow/learn financial management skills. Student and Family Advocate Initiative - Support Black students & families to understand the education system and help plan for student success. This program is offered to student ages 6 to 8, in the Region of Peel, and student ages 6 to 23, in the Region of Halton. For more information on this program contact: intake@rootscs.org
